    A) General description

                The Graduate Studies Program (PSP) awards M.Sc. entitled "Business Administration (MBA - Master in Business Administration)» according to the provisions of n.3685 / 2008 ( A 148). Purpose of the program is the Business Administration. The PSP entitled "Management of Enterprises" (M.B.A.-Master in Business Administration) is designed to provide higher education graduates specializing in the fields of Economics and Business, that can meet the needs of the Greek economy, as they evolve and are shaped in the European Union.

     Conferred academic title

     

                    After successful completion of their studies, students receive M.Sc. (M.Sc.) entitled "Business Administration (MBA - Master in Business Administration)». The qualifications of the PSP awarded jointly by the TEI and the Ternopil National Economic University   (T.N.E.U.) in accordance with the provisions of Article 10 of Law. 3685/2008 and approval of the PSP-MBA (Gov. Gazette : 183/25-02-2015)

     Admission requirements

                  In the Graduate Studies Program (PSP) admitted, after selection, all graduates of Higher Education Institutions in Greece or equivalent institutions abroad on production rate of the title by the competent body, and the following application documents

    1. Application form
    2. Degree or Diploma
    3. Detailed rating degree or diploma
    4. Detailed CV
    5. Published works - research activity.
    6. Two letters from professor members  faculty or professional body.
    7. Certificate of Lower in English. Candidates who do not have English language certificate addressed in English by a committee appointed by the Steering Committee of the PSP. Sufficient knowledge of the English language can be guaranteed and the occupation degree or postgraduate studies English speaking country.
    8. Qualifications other than the basic, if any.
    9. Certificates of professional activity.
    10. Photocopy of passport or identity,
    11. 2 photos

                For the selection of the evaluation criteria of candidates and the corresponding points awarded are the following:

    1. The overall grade of the First Degree (15%)
    2. Existence of second degree or postgraduate degree (10%).
    3. Research activity (except dissertation / thesis) of the candidate, as evidenced by publications or certificates and certificates for participation in research programs,  scholarships (10%).
    4. Certificate of Proficiency in English. Candidates who do not hold a certificate of proficiency in English will be considered in English by a committee appointed by the Steering Committee of the PSP. Sufficient knowledge of the English language can be guaranteed and the occupation degree or postgraduate studies English speaking country. (10%).
    5. Review of recommendation letters (5%).
    6. Candidate’s professional activity in management positions in private or public companies or public entities (15%).
    7. Commission Assessment Interview (25%).
    8. Average score in the following courses (10%): Business Administration, Marketing, Economics, Statistics

    Educational and professional goals

     

    The objectives of the program include:

    • The main purpose of Inter-institution graduate program is the training of highly qualified personnel, mainly driven development of abilities and skills of graduate students, to meet the practical and scientific needs of the market, production operators and business associations, as well as the needs of the competitiveness of Greek businesses, making them capable and competitive in national and international environment.
    • Providing graduate students of economic, administrative and business knowledge and graduate education, focusing both on theory and research, with a holistic approach to business.
    • the provision of international administrative training and practice to graduate students in order to prepare and develop leaders and general managers for strengthening national and transnational Greek business oriented extroversion of the Greek economy into the European and international markets in today's global competitive environment .
    • Providing expertise students and organization skills and business management and organizations in the Greek and international, so as to enhance the ability of graduates to apply scientific methods and tools for data analysis and to take operational decisions in companies and organizations.
    • The continuous enrichment of the program to new scientific theories and practices and trends in area of ​​management, so that the program graduates become capable business leaders and organizations to address and solve complex problems faced by enterprises today competitive world.
    • the attainment of specialized knowledge in the theory and research of administrative and economic science with emphasis in European and international business activities of Greek enterprises, so that graduates can adequately meet labor market needs in Greece, the EU member countries , the Balkans, the Black Sea area and the rest of the world.
    • The exchange of valuable scientific expertise, scientific opinions and practices in management and economics among the teachers of TEI and the Ternopil National Economic University, Ukraine to transfer their graduate students.
    • Ensuring the quality of education at MSc-MBA, by introducing and maintaining high standards and international standards implementation of postgraduate curricula.
    • The creation of original teaching / supervisory high level of knowledge of material, theoretical analysis and practical exercises for all courses and laboratory exercises in electronic form for teaching via electronic media (Power Point).
    • the use of modern technologies in education in implementing pioneering innovations in electronic teaching and assessment in lessons using specialized software, fully harmonized in the new economy opportunities.

    About career prospects, the MBA program graduates can be employed in all sectors of the economy and business, both in industry and in tourism, financial services and professional services sectors, non-governmental organizations, education , wholesale and retail, export / import companies, transport companies and others.

     B) Description Curriculum

    The duration of the M.Sc. is four (4) academic semesters, full time including thesis preparation.

    Student of the Postgraduate program is holder of MSc degree when:

    • Has successfully attended all the courses in accordance with the rules of procedure.

    • Approved, present and evaluate the graduate work.

    Regulations examinations and assessment / scoring

    For each course provided with theoretical instruction form, continuous evaluation of the student's performance include: oral presentations of individual work, group work, written reports and participation in final examinations. attendance is mandatory at least 80% of the course

    The characterization of student performance in class is defined as follows: 0-3,9 "wrong", 4 to 4.9 "poorly" 5 to 6.9 'good', 7 to 8.4 "very good", 8 5-10 "excellent"
